Boogie-woogie is a music genre that’s hard not to bop along to anytime you hear it. But if you’re not in the mood to put on your own dancing shoes, the couple in the video below will do all the dancing for you!

Get ready for an energetic performance that’s swept the internet.

It features several renowned artists on stage combining their talents – and let’s just say they end up giving the crowd a show and a half.

Silvan Zingg is an amazing pianist and composer from Switzerland who’s known for his boogie-woogie skills.

According to his website, he’s considered “one the most famous Boogie Woogie pianists in Europe.” During his music career, Zingg has performed in numerous countries around the world and partakes in major international boogie-woogie concerts. However, he also plays in smaller, more intimate settings too.

Lucky for us, Zingg is the pianist in this performance, which took place at the LaRoquebrou Festival in 2004.

The song is one he composed called, “Dancin’ The Boogie.”

There’s even more than a heaping dose of boogie-woogie.

Watching and listening to Zingg tickle the ivories is a treat on its own. But to kick the performance up a notch – a pair of dancers take the stage and join him and his fellow musicians. The duo knows how to boogie-woogie as well, but of course, in their own way!

While the musicians play, the dancers give the audience an exciting show that pairs perfectly with the beat.

William Mauvais and Maéva Truntzer are a couple from France who met when they were 14-years-old. They’ve been crowned champions many times for their boogie-woogie dancing – and over the last decade, they’ve been winning awards in Lindy Hop (another member of the swing family). You might just be blown away by how incredible they are.

Zingg practically sets the keys on fire with his piano playing. As for William and Maéva, their skills are knocking people’s socks off.

One viewer wrote:

“This is the best boogie dancing couple I’ve seen on here. Excellent balance between the two of them. Very well executed.”

Someone else admitted they’ve watched the performance many times, while another said:

With it being such a high-energy performance, it makes you feel tired just watching William and Maéva.

Their feet move at an unbelievable speed the entire time.

Although the dancers are more center stage, the musicians in the background are also the stars of the show (with Zingg, of course, shining extra bright).

One YouTube viewer commented:

“GREAT Silvan Zingg best boogie woogie pianist for the time. And so natural. These dancers are sooooooo talented, but nothing compared to Silvan. What a treat to be backed up by Silvan!”

Nuno Alexandre is the bassist and Simon Boyer is the drummer. They too deserve credit for their spectacular contribution to the act.

In the video description, there’s a piece of advice for viewers. It says:

“Turn up the volume, watch and give it a listen! If you experience any trouble tapping your foot to the beat, you had better hurry and schedule an appointment with your physician.”
