Even if you haven’t heard of the popular British rock band Queen before the 2018 biographical film came out, now you probably know about Freddie Mercury and the famous “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The song was written for the band’s 1975 album A Night at the Opera.

Numerous artists have covered the song since then from Elton John, Bruce Dickinson and Dream Theater to Kanye West and Pink.

However, we found a version unlike any other—namely, covered by a guitar quartet with years of experience in live entertainment.

40 Fingers is an acoustic guitar quartet based in Trieste, Italy.

It consists of four educated musicians: Mateo Brenci, Emanuele Grafitti, Andrea Vittori and Enrico Maria Milanesi. Although the band formed in 2017, all members of the group have a much longer experience because they’ve performed on their own for a long time. All four men continue to work simultaneously on their own independent projects.

The audience seems to love this group, and they’ve already got 279,000 YouTube subscribers.

Their Instagram account attracted thousands of followers. As you might have guessed, the names come from the fact that there are four of them with ten fingers each. It is obvious, but very creative at the same time—not as creative as their gigs, though.

It’s hard to cover such an incredible song, but the quartet did it almost perfectly.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” is considered to be one of the greatest rock songs of all time. It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2004 and became the most streamed song from the 20th century.

It also became the most-streamed classic rock songs of all time.

Queen certainly set the bar very high with this one, but these four talented guitarists were up to the task!

While he was still playing with Queen, one of Freddie Mercury’s lines became very famous.

He said that he didn’t mind if people copied his music, as long as they didn’t make it boring. Well, Freddie, these four Italian men didn’t let you down—this cover is about as exciting as they come.

You won’t believe how great the song sounds on acoustic guitar!

It takes a lot to sing as Freddie did, which is why these guys decided not to mess with perfection.

They simply chose to play the instrumental part of the song, and to have as much fun as possible while doing it. As this video shows, they were born to do this.

Since the clip was posted, it has earned more than eight million YouTube views in a year!

The clip was published in 2019 and people loved it right away.

In all, this is a great way to remember one of the greatest bands of all time. The only thing better would be if the video was released in 2015 when Queen celebrated their 40th anniversary! Queen is one of the most loved rock bands ever, so it’s only fitting that anyone who attempts to cover any of their songs should bring as much originality to it as possible. We wish a lot of success to these men, they mean business.
