Countless stars, thousands of musicians, and many other artists have awards and accolades to boast and brag about but how many of them can actually say that they have performed with the great Andrea Bocelli?
This Italian sensation is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is also living proof that anyone can do great things and achieve success no matter what life throws at you. At five months old he was diagnosed with Congenital Glaucoma, and at twelve became completely blind due to a football accident.
He is 61-years-old now and one of the world’s most unbelievable singers and performers.
Victoria Loren Kelly is a successful American artist. One of the many then YouTube sensations who have gone on to American Idol, eventually releasing her own work with Capitol Records. She’s known as Tori Kelly and in her own right, is one heck of a fantastic singer.
Well, Tori is one of those select few who has performed live with Andrea Bocelli. Here they are with “The Prayer”. Perhaps one of Andrea’s most iconic songs. It was written by David Foster and intended for Celine Dion and Bocelli. Celine took care of the English, Bocelli in Italian, of course.
No pressure, Tori.
Well Tori seemed to thrive in the moment. After all, it’s not everyday that a girl gets to sing with a living legend. In fact, Tori uploaded it to her own YouTube channel. It is THAT special. Over 7.9 million views for this California stunner.
Tori and Andrea sang together live in Seattle. Andrea looks dapper in his suit, an elegant man of stature seemingly fit to be in a James Bond film, except he’s Italian. Tori looks amazing in a long black, form hugging black dress embroidered with what looks to be a snake on the left side.
It’s not a Bocelli concert without an orchestra.
A viewer noted,

Tori starts it off, singing in her signature style with a sweet tone that only masks her power. She has amazing control. This song is not easy. But Tori nails it. Andrea comes in with his Italian, a voice that even record producer David Foster describes as “the most beautiful in the world”.
How does Celine Dion describe Andrea’s voice? Well she famously said that if God were to have a singing voice, it would sound like Bocelli’s.
Now Tori is already doing a wonderful job at it, just harmonizing with Andrea, but she takes it up a notch.
She matches Bocelli, singing the Italian parts without losing control of her tone. You have no idea how difficult it is to sing in a different language.
“I love how Tori harmonizes with him and never tries to sing over or under Andrea. Many talented singers have failed to do this when singing with him.”
This, according to a very observant fan. Even when Andrea goes to hit his trademark high notes, Tori matches him but never grabs the spotlight. She’s incredible. She perfectly complements Bocelli’s singing, and if Dion is right, then Andrea could be “God”, and Tori, an “angel”.
They share a smile and a hug at the end as the crowd applauds the stunning show they have just witnessed. Bocelli moments are always immortalized. Consider yourself timeless, Tori Kelly.
