Life can be very challenging for some of us.

We don’t have the luxury to choose where and how we will be born. Even so, the ability to cope and improve despite the drawbacks is truly a remarkable thing. When we focus on what we have rather on what we lack, and when we accentuate optimism like a candle in the dark, that’s when we’re at our best.

That is how Thanh Dien Guitar of the YouTube channel Music Entertainment found his passion for the music!

Thus a YouTube channel was created where he can express his talent by accompanying singers in each video.

In a collaboration with Diem Huong, they performed the 1994 hit song “Zombie” by the Irish alternative rock band The Cranberries.

The girl in the video uses her hands like a compass to follow the rhythm as she feels the song with her eyes closed.

It’s a masterpiece song from the ’90s, and they do a great job with it! The timbre of her voice is akin to that of the original singer, making it suitable for the song. She has a beautiful tone and great control of her voice.

Her raw talent, cheerfulness and the laidback aura emanating from her complement perfectly with this incredibly talented guitarist.

As Diem Huong delivered her own rendition of the song “Zombie,” belting the high notes with such ease, Thanh Dien also showed his prowess by strumming and tapping the guitar with such dexterity and adroitness.

It’s like he’s playing the guitar, the bass guitar and the drums all at once—it’s clear that a lifetime’s worth of practice went into these skills!

This playing technique actually what made him famous because when he plays, the listener feels as if there is an entire band with a variety of instruments playing in the background.

He played with so much vigor and enthusiasm that it resonated in their performance.

He has explained what the experience of being blind has meant to him in his life:

“God took my eyes and gave me much better ears to hear. I can hear much clearer than normal people. But in the beginning, it was also very arduous, my hands were hurt, and the guitar sound was not good. I was extremely frustrated, sometimes I wanted to give up. But then I had nothing, only the guitar as a companion. So finally I picked up the guitar again.”

Through his perseverance, he managed to achieve his dreams.

It might not have been an easy journey, but he remained resilient. He didn’t let his situation dictate his future; instead, he paved his own path to achieve success in life. He believed in himself, and the results are plain to see!
