Billy Joel just celebrated his 71st birthday and his daughters gave him the most endearing gift ever.
Also known as “Piano Man”, singer, songwriter and renowned pianist Billy Joel has been sharing incredible music with his fans all over the world throughout the years. And as he celebrated his 71st birthday last May 9, we could only imagine that giving an accomplished man like him a gift would probably be one of the hardest things to do.
Well, that would be the case for everyone else except his 4-year-old daughter Della Rose and 2-year-old daughter, Remy, whose gifts for their Dad are the thing that Billy Joel will surely love.
The little girls sang a song for their father.
In the video uploaded by the pianist himself on Twitter, little Della Rose can be seen as she walks on their home’s hallway while singing the “Happy Birthday Song”. She finished it with a “Happy Birthday, Dear Daddy, Happy Birthday to you.”

Billy Joel captioned it as “Take One. Happy Birthday Daddy. Love, Della.” It was a short song but everyone loved her heartfelt birthday greetings to bits!
It was only one of the videos uploaded by the pianist. Apart from Della Rose’s song, Billy Joel also filmed his younger daughter, 2-year-old Remy Anne, as she sang a birthday song for him.

He entitled it “Take Two. Happy Birthday Daddy. Love, Remy.” This time, the little girl is in the kitchen, sitting by the dining table as she sang a song for the renowned pianist.
Fans are raving about how the girls are taking after their father in this aspect. People loved the two girls’ endearing songs for their Dad and could not help but praise the little ladies’ vocal chops! Some of them commented after watching Della Rose’s Birthday Song for her Dad.
On his birthday, Billy Joel definitely received lots of love from his family and from his fans. After he uploaded the videos of his daughters, his supporters from all over the world flooded his Twitter account with birthday wishes for the music icon, and that include his fellow artists in the industry.
Since the 1970s, Billy Joel has been keeping a successful career and is definitely considered to be a music icon in America. In 1985, his compilation album entitled Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2 became one of the best-selling albums in the country.

He took piano lessons when he was only four years old and eventually led one of the most successful music careers we know today. Currently, and just like everybody else, Billy Joel is on home quarantine with his wife, Alexis Joel, and their two lovely girls. He thanked his fans for the good wishes on his birthday via a post on his official website.
