Noteworthy is an A cappella group of stunning women who sing songs from rock to pop. They are amazing singers as a group and individually. In their “Amazing Grace” performance, the women were clad in white as they sang the iconic song.
The video started with only one of the women singing. She slowly walks in the forest, clad in a white gown and singing sweetly as she looks at nature. As she reached the lake, the woman stopped to get a feel of the water as she continuously sang the heartfelt song, her crystal clear voice echoing in the forest.
That’s when the rest of the group arrived, all clad in white dresses and bare feet. Slowly, the ladies walked towards their friend, and one by one, the women started to walk across the water, hand in hand.
The music is soothing, and the ladies’ voices and harmony is impeccable. Their incredible arrangement of the popular hymn is one of a kind.
A cappella is a group or solo performance without any instrumental accompaniment. It is purely done thru a person’s vocals and by harmonizing with others if the performers are in a group.
As I listened to the women sing all throughout the song, I always forget that what I am hearing is a song without any instrument behind it. It is simply mind-blowing how these talented ladies do it.
It is not enough to say that their voices are good. They sound angelic as they sing such a heavenly song. They even look angelic, too.
Their performance is quite an elegant show of talent and beauty, and I appreciate that they did not make a lot of fuss in this performance. Their pure and raw emotions as they sang and filmed the music video is utterly soothing to the soul.
It was a rendition of the song that was so moving, you’ll definitely want to hear it over and over again. Not to mention the music video that is definitely a work of art!
It’s actually no surprise that the video earned more than 59 million views since it was first uploaded in 2015. Now, that’s quite a staggering number. Wow!
