Though it may go without saying, the world loves to watch talented people.

No matter who you are, chances are there’s something you do that almost nobody can do better. Whether it’s dancing, singing, painting or acting, those skills and abilities can blow other people away and make our lives more meaningful.

Still, it’s not always easy to figure out what our best abilities are—or to have the courage to move towards them when we do. We all have difficulties we have to overcome in life.

Still, not all of us have to overcome those difficulties on the international stage.

For those who don’t know, what we know as America’s Got Talent is actually an international franchise.

All of these shows operate under the Got Talent umbrella, and each different version of the show brings different talented performers together from different parts of the world.

Though these shows are watched avidly in their home countries, YouTube and the internet have allowed some of their most stunning performances to make their rounds around the world! The performance we’re talking about today comes from Italy’s Got Talent.

And it’s definitely one of the more remarkable ones that we’ve seen in a while.

The show is the same as any other version, with the contestant walking out onstage to introduce himself to the judges.

He explains that his name is Isam, and that he’s a professional beatboxer. As the judges interview him, it’s clear that he has a pretty severe stutter—which would typically be a huge obstacle to overcome for someone making music and beatboxing.

Still, Isam seems to have a good sense of humor about the entire situation. When he tells them all he’ll be beatboxing, everybody in the crowd seems a bit surprised.

Even so, as he talks about some of the struggles with his family, he begins to tear up.

After a quick round of applause, the judges clear the way for him to perform.

From the beginning, he starts with some perfect sounding record scratches. After that, he gradually starts adding sounds into his vocal performance.

At first it’s just one, but then there’s two and three… and even four. A moment later, he’s doing five different sounds and the audience is all clapping and dancing along.

A moment later, he switches the entire thing up once again.

After that, his second portion mimics a sound being far away before being “turned up” on a stereo.

Finally, he brings the mic closer and the result blows everyone away. As he keeps going, the song just gets more and more complicated.

Halfway through his final portion, all the judges and the audience get on their feet to give him a standing ovation!

When it’s all over, he takes a bow and waits for the judges’ comments.

Needless to say, everyone in the room is impressed.

After going down the line, everyone only has positive comments for him and gradually he collects his four yeses to continue! Since this performance was posted, it has earned some 23 million views on YouTube—and it’s easy to see why!
