Ammar Dafri, a.k.a. “Power Beat,” is a human beatboxer who makes magnificent music using just his mouth and vocal chords. One day when Power Beat was performing for a crowd in a city square in the Belgian capital, he had an unexpected person join him during his performance.
A silver haired woman was walking her dog through the square when she was overwhelmed by Power Beat’s music. The woman began to move her hips and sway her hands to the beat.
The elderly was doing an interpretative type of dance and looked beautiful and free as she embraced the spirit of the music.
This lady was busting out some seriously funky moves, all while holding her dog’s leash.
The more she danced, the larger the crowd around her got. She felt such passion that she even knelt down on the floor to writhe around as Power Beat played more fiercely for her.
At one point she drops her dog’s leash, and even the dog stands by to watch.
“I was really moved by this woman and I played the harmonica for her,” Dafri wrote online. “That’s what art can do.”
When she was all out of moves, the woman gently got up and continued to walk her dog through the square as the crowd erupted into an applause.
Most people never let loose like this woman in their entire lives, let alone in their golden years. If she can do it, you can do it!
