Born in the early 2000s as an ‘Independence Day’, the Voghera Country Festival first started as a fun gathering.
A few years later, it became the Voghera Country Festival to honor Voghera City. Voghera is linked with Cheyenne, Wyoming, known for Frontier Days.
The goal of creating a great experience for everyone stayed the same.
Now, the Voghera Country Festival is a big deal in Italian country music.
It’s one of the most anticipated festivals in Europe.
The festival mixes dance and country music, featuring famous American artists and various dance styles. They even have fun dance competitions with other European countries.
Every year, the festival picks the best country DJs and has stages and workshops for learning and staying updated.
There’s also a cool painting exhibition and a free photo contest. The festival has themed stands, a family-friendly Cowboyland Park, and a fantastic concert on Saturday.

Sponsored by Voghera City, the event has a diverse program for everyone. It starts Thursday with an “OFF FESTIVAL” at Cowboys’ Saloon, featuring live performances.
Friday kicks off officially with workshops, DJ music, and the first big show on the Palatexas main stage.
The fun continues without a break until Sunday evening.
One of the most anticipated parts of the Voghera Country Festival is the line dancing competition.
On the 10th year of the festival at the Cowboys’ Guest Ranch in Voghera, Italy, a group of talented women spiced up the floor with their amazing routine.
They set all their cards out on deck just to clinch the Tacchino Hat Dance Trophy in the Line Dance category.
Wearing red tops, jeans, and cowboy hats, nine women entered the dance floor with their game faces on.
After a quick introduction, they all lined up and started doing what they were truly there for – to win!
With their fun but amazing display of footwork, they maneuvered precisely in each movement.
Their hand and foot coordination was well balanced throughout their line dance routine.
No exaggerated steps, no slips, and no misses.
They were moving in perfect unison as if there was only one person dancing in the middle of the crowd.
What’s even more captivating than their performance was their smiles.
The lively tune of ‘The Heart Song’ by NEEDTOBREATHE was a perfect match for these amazing women’s hearts and determination to win.
The video of their performance was uploaded on YouTube and amassed over 3 million views.
