Some babies are just born talented, and when they are, it makes for some extremely adorable and impressive moments.
There’s also nothing more inspiring than a child with extraordinary abilities—which is why this two-year-old drum prodigy is so amazing to watch. She exudes positivity in a time where the world is in desperate need of it.
This little girl is just too cute!
Shia Wilson is an amazingly gifted toddler who plays her aunt’s song and goes viral for it.

This 21-month-old baby looks up to her auntie, Sheléa Frazer, who’s a talented musician and who is also mentored by Stevie Wonder.
So the two-year-old likes to play a cover of her song “Pretty World,” and it’s really good. At the start of the video, Shia’s dad asks her what song she wants to play and she replies: “Pretty World.”
That’s when the music starts and the real show begins.
The baby girl bangs on her drums, but not at all the way you would expect a two-year-old to drum. Shia is very coordinated and in tune with the music, and it’s really surprising to see!
For a 21-month-old baby to play with this kind of precision is just mind-boggling.
Shia looks so precious in her big headphones! She doesn’t even have to focus on the drums to keep the rhythm going. At one point, the little musician looks up at her father and continues to play the song without looking.
Her dad has even added some adorable words and effects to the video.
“This is my jam” pops up on the screen followed by “I know all the lyrics.” You can tell she knows the song well! The entire time, this little girl mouths the words while playing her drums.
At one point the camera even switches to Shia’s viewpoint.
It’s so cool that her dad put so much into this as well—the camera angles switch to get different views of the tiny drummer and there are even shots from her point of view. Shia is so cool, calm and collected while playing, which is so rare for such a young person.
Shia is laser-focused but still manages to flash some heart-melting smiles.
Seeing her play the drums with so much skill is seriously baffling, and the video only gets better. At 2:34 into the video, Shia takes control and begins a solo for the grand finale.
When it comes time for Shia’s solo, “time for me to drive it” pops onto the screen and the two-year-old starts to play some impromptu beats to drive the performance home.
Her dad also added in some sweet special effects—every time she hits her drums there’s a cartoon bang!
People on the internet absolutely loved the video of Shia drumming, and the mini-drummer went viral—and the video has only been online for less than a month!
Shia covering her aunt’s song has already been viewed almost 900,000 times.
I’m sure her Aunt Sheléa is so proud of her for being able to play her song. She probably appreciates the new exposure this is bringing to her music as well!
This is such a wonderful thing to see, and Shia is way ahead of her time when it comes to music!
I wouldn’t be surprised one bit to see her music in the future at some point.
