America’s Got Talent contestant Aubrey Burchell is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She’s 21, works at Target, and sneaks into the bathroom with her phone to sing.

It keeps her “sane”.

Burchell also told the judges that she was diagnosed with level-one autism after saying she aims to sell stadiums across the world and win GRAMMYs.

She’s visibly shaking and nervous as judge Heidi Klum asks her questions.

“I want to show other young autistics that are suffering in silence that you can follow your passion and not fit in the box and do what you do and just eat at it.” Aubrey says to them.

But who is she?

Aubrey was born on January 6, 2001, and immediately fell in love with singing.

Her father was a musician so they would write little melodies together.

Aubrey’s first audience was in preschool and since then has performed at many local charity events.

Burchell has also had a vocal coach since she was 15 years old.

What most people don’t know is that she finished in the Top 70 of American Idol.

Aubrey told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazett,

“It’s one of my crowning achievements and something I never thought I would’ve done. I’m grateful for the opportunity, and it was a springboard to what I believe was to be later.”

So standing now in front of the AGT judges, dressed in a flowered dress and black boots, Burchell is ready to show the world her talents.

She launches in to “Call Out My Name” by The Weekend, pouring all her emotions and unleashing her powerful voice.

The four judges are yet to give their feedback but those faces already reveal a lot. Simon Cowell is smiling!

A viewer had this to say about Aubrey,

“She’s just 21 and her stage presence and maturity is like a 35 year old! Her voice is like a strong ocean wave. Being diagnosed with level one autistic and seeing her following passion of singing is just super motivating! I request everyone to support this young singing talented girl! She’s definitely has that pop star charisma. I Just FREAKIN’ love her personality and voice.”

They all did!

Aubrey has the presence, the attitude, and the confidence as she sings her heart out but in the end, as she finishes, the 21-year-old starts crying as the judges and the audience give her a standing ovation.

“You really have a fantastic, fantastic voice,” Heidi Klum says.

Howie praised her for her bravery while Sofia loved her look, the song, and went on to say that America is going to fall in love with her.

“I think you have a chance to win this competition.” Vergara went on.

Heidi called for a vote, to which all four judges gave a “Yes“, with Aubrey jumping, shaking, and crying.

Even the audience roared their approval.
