The Swing might’ve come from the 1930s but today, it remains a popular type of dance. But what makes this particular style unique from others is all the different forms. A few examples include the Lindy Hop, Boogie-Woogie, Modern Jive, Rodeo Swing, Balboa, and both the East and West Coast Swing.
Popular around the country
The Swing is so fun that this dance style has become one of the most popular throughout the country. Not only do people do it at nightclubs but also as part of competitions. As an example, in Phoenix, Arizona, you can find numerous clubs that focus on nothing but Swing.
Introducing Jordan Frisbee and Jessica Cox
This dancing duo competed in the 2010 championships for Phoenix Swing. They’re so good, it wasn’t surprising to see them take first place. And once the video of their performance was uploaded to social media, it quickly garnered more than five million views.
Now, that’s how you start a performance
Immediately after their introduction, the two came together and hugged. But then, Jordon planted a sexy kiss on Jessica. We’re guessing this pair has a connection that goes beyond the dance floor. The look on people’s faces showed their surprise.
Sexy from the start
They start out dancing to “She Wolf” by Shakira. And let’s just say their moves were hot. Yes, they were still doing Swing but this was on an entirely different level. There’s no question that they have incredible chemistry and talent.
What else can you say but wow
The dips, turns, slides, and hip rolls…all flawlessly executed. They nailed every foot placement and moved as one. People in the crowd couldn’t take their eyes off this couple.
Too hot to handle
We get the feeling that the audience had never seen Swing like this. While Jordon donned black slacks and a pink shirt, it was Jessica’s outfit that grabbed the most attention. She had on tight black pants and a black crop top that showed off every curve of her body.
But what about the dance?
They exuded confidence. From the looks of it, this couple has danced together for a long time. They knew exactly how the other one moved and what to expect. Jordon led beautifully with Jessica following his every move. They were fantastic.
Cool tricks
Throughout the performance, this duo threw in some unique moves. That only heightened the crowd’s enthusiasm. At one point, Jordon swept his leg around, which really got people going. Another thing that made this couple stand out is that they took advantage of the entire dance floor.
Changing it up
But a little more than halfway through the video, things change. Now, the song “I Sing the Blues” by Etta James begins to play. And their moves to this song were just as sexy. In fact, they might’ve taken things up a notch. Don’t worry, no one was complaining. If anything, everyone was in awe.
Big tease
There was one part where Jordon grabbed hold of the ties on the back of Jessica’s top. Slowly, he began to pull them while the crowd cheered. Fortunately, it stopped there although it seemed as though everyone was holding their breath for a moment.
