Born and raised in Oslo, Norway, this young lady has achieved superstardom in a heartbeat after stunning the judges on Norway’s Got Talent. She was just seven at the time and yes, she won the competition with the show achieving record setting TV audiences.
Angelina Jordan became a viral sensation and in no time, hit the screens of people all over the world. This talented young lady has raised million of dollars for charities and environmental causes, choosing to remain humble considering her status.
She performs barefoot.
Angelina met a homeless, shoeless girl when she was six and after a long talk with the homeless girl, Angelina gave her shoes and vowed to perform barefoot until children all over the world had shoes. What a heart.
She walked to the small stage barefoot amidst the applause of her much older audience and if she was nervous, it didn’t show one bit.
Angelina takes her position, the piano coming in, and without hesitation she begins singing,
“Oh, my love, my darling
I’ve hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time
Time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much”
It becomes apparent as to why this little lady became such a huge hit.
Her voice is unlike anything you would hear, especially from someone her age. There is depth, control, and a level of maturity that belies her small frame and childlike face.
Angelina sets the mood with a lower octave, matching the song’s slower, more solemn melody instantly bringing to mind the many versions of this classic hit. The thing with “Unchained Melody” is the tempo may be slow but the singer needs to have excellent control as the notes are dragged out for most parts which brings out the quality of one’s voice.
Angelina has amazing control.
Her audience is silent, their eyes fixed on the little girl in a white dress, listening to her enchanting voice as she fills the room with her talent. All this while performing barefoot. You can’t help but wonder if she feels cold.
Online viewers can’t get enough of her,
