She is every bit as good as Darci Lynne - if not better. ❤️

Ana-Maria Mărgean was just eleven years old when she took the stage on “Romania’s Got Talent”.

There, she showed off her ventriloquism skills, an act that inspired her when she saw videos of fellow ventriloquist and “America’s Got Talent” Season 2 champion Terry Fator.

So using puppets built by her parents, the young Romanian spent quarantine time in 2020 tirelessly learning how to bring those puppets to life.

It led to her winning a Golden Buzzer.

Winning “Romania’s Got Talent” changed Mărgean’s life.

It even allowed her family to afford a brand new home.

To think ventriloquism isn’t popular in her country.

Now she has her sights set on America.

America’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum were soon introduced to her rescue dog puppet, Waldo.

What follows is an impressive display of ventriloquism.

So now on the AGT stage, her routine begins.

Mărgean and Waldo, her “rescue dog”, proceed to argue as to who is actually in charge.

It’s friendly banter which quickly draws laughs from both the audience and the judges.

Her mom looks a little tense there bit she soon relaxes once she sees everyone loving her daughter.

But then Mărgean (and Waldo) start singing a bold and brassy version of Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me”.

That’s when the judges dropped their jaws in awe as the audience began cheering.

And Mărgean is no slouch in the vocal department either because this girl can sing!

Those high notes aren’t easy to hit especially when balancing the act with a puppet that has to sing too.

She has a fan in the comments who said,

“Ana-Maria is, hands down, the best act I’ve seen on any AGT show this year! I didn’t expect her to be that great when she started her act, but truthfully her talent blew me right out of my chair! Her singing voice is sensational and her ventriloquism skills are incredible! She is the equal of Darcy Lynne and that is saying a lot because Darci was one of my favorite AGT acts of all time! For me, Ana-Maria is now clearly the favorite to win AGT: All-Stars 2023!”

Let’s hope he’s right then!

It’s an incredible performance that led to a standing ovation.

Simon wanted his own dog, or at least a puppet of his own!

Heidi proclaimed, “Wow! I mean, no wonder you won. You are incredible. You’re gorgeous. You can sing so beautifully. I love your furry friend. And it was funny, too — I love all the banter and the jokes.”

“I was laughing,” Howie added. “And I cannot believe your story that you just started doing this during lockdown. Like, you don’t even have two years under your belt. That is amazing. You are an ‘AGT: All-Star.’ The superfans are gonna love you.”

It’s obvious that they all loved her!

We already love this young Romanian talent ourselves and we can’t wait for more!

It’s one performance you’re going to love!
