Sisters Cassandra Star and Callahan Armstrong are back after uplifting millions of people back in 2020. They did so knowing how terribly difficult it was to be stuck at home during lockdowns.

The pandemic had people social distancing, which put a lot of stress on families and friends, especially when someone was infected. It was a very stressful year.

Nikki Armstrong, the sisters’ mother, shared that the girls thought of singing as a means of making people feel better.

The sisters sing, share stories, and basically bring smiles to viewers. And it’s working. Cassandra Star Armstrong has 43.3k YouTube subscribers. That’s not including other social media platforms.

The Armstrong sisters’ sweet, angelic voices are perfect for Christian hymns.

Anglican clergyman John Newton wrote the words in 1772 with the song published in 1779. Newton lived a colorful life, and his writing of the song was a result of many unexpected twists and turns.

It’s not so much an old song as it is a timeless one.

Cassandra and Callahan blend their voices together, singing the song in its original melody, not doing too much to change the feel like other cover artists tend to do.

“You two are a gift that just keeps on giving! The solo parts are beautiful and the harmonies are sooo amazing! Thank you for sharing your love of music with all of us! Your dresses and the background added a whole other dimension. May you both continue to share your gift for many years to come!”

Commented a very happy fan.

3-time Emmy Award-winning pianist Robbie Kondor provides that beautiful sound, and the sisters’ music teacher Renee Martin Brown helped with the production. Those matching dresses look lovely too!

John Newton had no idea his work would endure the test of time.

And blessings are to be shared with others. It would be a shame to hide talent like theirs. We can only look forward to more amazing singing from Cassandra and Callahan.

All these girls want for their viewers is for them to feel better after each video. By the looks of it, they’re pretty successful!

This is pretty amazing alright! Close your eyes and enjoy the Armstrong sisters’ rendition of a classic hymn!
