A few years ago, a rendition of the song was performed by the UC Men’s Octet at the Welcome Back to A Cappella Showcase at Hertz Hall, University of California, Berkeley.

The performance was recorded by a member of the audience and was uploaded on YouTube, so far having been viewed by more than 3M people.

In the video, the eight men can be seen dressed up in their uniforms, at the beginning taking their time until they are ready to start the performance, with the audience getting ready for a good laugh. Their initial position – standing still, hands crossed over their chests, heads bowed- causes the audience’s laughter and excitement for what is about to follow.

But, most probably, they have no idea how much the singers are going to amaze them in a few moments.

And then, the real show starts. Once they start singing, the audience can’t hold back their excitement and start cheering for them.

Especially when one of them comes forward- as “Freddie” in the lead singer role- they go absolutely crazy, to the point that one can barely hear the singers for a while.

And, honestly, the guy has a beautiful voice, but the vocalists also do an amazing job, while they also act some of the lyrics out.

The octet goes on for more than five minutes, performing the song with great skill and the result is awesome.

This is by no means an easy song, with all of its diverse musical sections, one can only admire these guys’ courage and the hard work they must have done in order to achieve this result.

The UC Men’s Octet was founded in 1948 as a member of the UC Choral Ensembles. They have recorded more than a dozen albums, and, although they mostly perform around the San Francisco Bay Area, they have also toured all around the world, including Asia, Europe, and Australia.

The video of the group performing Bohemian Rhapsody has gotten mostly positive comments, with the majority of them focusing on the great voice of the men, and the uniqueness of the song.
