Alfie Sheard has the talent to make it big in Hollywood and he actually has already lived in Los Angeles, California to work on his music career. Yet, Alfie has found himself back where he loves, busking on the streets of Doncaster in the UK. It does not matter if he is in music studio with professionals or busking on the streets of Doncaster, it is Alfie’s talent that will always shine.

Alfie’s raw talent is even more astounding when you learn he is only a teenager.
Alfie has been raised in Ravenfield, Rotherham but like to busk on the streets of Doncaster. His father owns a business in Doncaster, so Alfie is able to busk on the streets quite easily. Alfie started playing the guitar at the age of twelve and besides a few lessons, his guitar and singing has been self taught. It only took three years from first learning to have millions of viewers online and a trip to “The Ellen Show” in Los Angeles, California.
Alfie’s trip to Los Angeles, California was extended so he could gain experience in the music industry. At fifteen years of age, Alfie had the opportunity of a lifetime but it was not the same as busking in the streets of Doncaster and living with his family.
“They wanted me to live out there but I didn’t want that. The eight hours time difference makes it hard to maintain contact with family and friends over here… It was a step too far for me,” Alfie explained to the Doncaster Free Press.
When music lives in your soul, like it does with Alfie, it does not matter where you play your music, as long as you get to play.
He has performed at movie premieres and stadium arenas but it is on the streets of Doncaster that he still wants to play on. It is not stardom and fame that Alfie is after, he wants to play music and take care of his family. Alfie is young but he sure does have his priorities in order.
While on “The Ellen Show” Alfie spoke about his dream goal being, “…to come in one day and say ‘Here mom, you don’t have to work anymore. I’ll take care of you.'”
Alfie is not only an amazing singer, but he is an amazing son.
Alfie’s favorite artist is Ed Sheeran, who also had a special message for Alfie, along with gifting one of his personal guitar’s to Alfie. Ed Sheeran told him to make sure to play everyday and write as many songs as he could. Alfie has taken that advice and lives it while busking on the streets again. Alfie does not only sing covers but also plays original songs too.

Alfie sings the lyrics very delicately, which helps you really listen to the devastating lyrics that he is singing. It is shocking that Alfie can sing such a deep song at such a young age.
