There’s nothing worse than being stuck at the airport.
We’ve all had the experience of being in a rush to travel, but not when you have the cast of a Broadway play stuck with there with you! This airport turned into a full-blown Broadway performance when the casts of Aladdin and The Lion King broke into an incredible performance that left onlookers stunned.
This would make being stuck in the airport loads of fun!
At first, it looked like any other day in a busy airport terminal.
But a few moments later, everyone starts singing. At the beginning of the video, you can hear the vibrant sounds of The Lion King cast—and they sound better than the movie while singing “The Circle Of Life.” We all remember the famous sounds of the wild, and they bring them to life for the whole airport!
That’s when the casts of both plays erupt in sensational song, battling back and forth for the spotlight.
The variety in their voices’ is extraordinary, first The Lion King cast goes on a tangent of insane sounds that you wouldn’t think could be topped. Until the genie from Aladdin breaks out a sick freestyle rap.
That’s when the Genie from the Aladdin cast starts rapping right off the top of his head with his whole cast going crazy!
You can see the genie as he starts spitting some rhymes—you know who he is because he tells you in his rap. He makes up a whole flow about being in the airport with his cast and even brings up The Lion King cast in a pun about “The Circle Of Life.”
The Lion King cast won’t go out without a fight—after the genie is done rapping, they start up with their enormous voices again that echo through the airport.
When The Lion King cast takes back the stage, one of their thespians leads the way with some powerful words and sounds.
He pounds his chest as he gets his cast members going! They seize the opportunity and sing loudly together. People watching are loving it, you can see them pulling out their phones and recording videos of the strange but wonderful chance encounter.
But the Aladdin cast can’t let The Lion King cast get the last word.
After that, they jump back in with a song from their show this time. Showing off their gorgeous voices, they end the video in graceful style singing “Arabian Nights.”
Who do you think won? I can’t decide, I’d say it was a tie.
It’s hard to say which cast did better. Still, The Lion King cast definitely would have won if it weren’t for Aladdin’s genie’s improv rap that brought them back to even.
People on the internet couldn’t get enough of the two talented casts, and millions of viewers were mesmerized by their incredible performances.
Almost 8.5 million people viewed the video on YouTube, with 115,000 hitting the like button.
On top of the millions of views and 115,000 likes, thousands of people left hilarious comments for the two competing casts. Man, I wish I could have seen this in person!
These two casts are both too talented to pick just one.
In our estimation, I bet their actual Broadway plays were outstanding. They have some of the broadest vocal ranges you’ll ever hear.
