Who is your favorite singer?
There are so many talented singers, ones who are alive and many who are now gone, it is hard to choose between them to pick the best.
While it is obviously impossible to sit down and sing along to songs with singers that have passed away, for singers that are still here on this Earth, there is Carpool Karaoke.
Carpool Karaoke is one of the top segments on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Over the last three years, the late-night host has had stars like Stevie Wonder, Carrie Underwood, Demi Lovato, and more in the car. He even got the former First Lady, Michelle Obama, to hop in the car to sing!
Typically, on an episode of Carpool Karaoke, singers get in the car with James, under the pretense that they’re helping him get to work on a busy day in LA. But realistically, they’re there to just sing some of their hit songs.
Frontman for Maroon 5 and long-time coach on The Voice, Adam Levine, is the latest singer to get into James’s car to sing along.
Adam sang some of his biggest songs, like “Moves Like Jagger,” “This Love,” “She Will be Love,” “Sugar,” and so much more.
Adam also talked about the very beginning of Maroon 5. Apparently, when they first formed, they went by a lot of different names. According to the lead singer, their first formal name was Kara’s Flowers. Doesn’t exactly have the same ring to it, right?
Then the singer and host compared tattoos. Adam is “covered” in tattoos as he says, whereas James has just one tattoo – a fake tattoo of Adam’s face!
After they’ve finished singing one of the songs, James and Adam then hopped out of the car to compete with each other to see who could balance things on their face better. Adam was the clear winner!
As they were in the middle of a song, sirens can be heard outside of the car. Then suddenly, a police officer is pulling up beside them and flagging them down.
James yelled out the window to him:
“Hello, sir?”
To which the officer responded, “I’m gonna pull you over so you can sing a song for me.”
James laughed and confirmed with the officer, “You want us to pull over so he can sing a song for you?”
“Just because you caused a traffic hazard,” the cop replied.
James and Adam are law-abiding citizens, so they complied with pulling over. Not like they really had much of a choice when the cop was flashing his lights at them!
Adam didn’t actually wind up having to sing for the Sheriff, but he did give them a stern warning about being safe on the road. They then promised that they would be!
How funny was this episode of Carpool Karaoke? I never knew Adam Levine was so funny! I’m happy to see he seems to be just as nice and sweet as he is handsome.
