Train stations, bus stops, squares, shopping malls and airports have become increasingly popular places to perform flash mobs.

It’s understandable: those are public, spacious, crowded places. They scream for an event like that.

This flash-mob takes us to Scotland where one lucky lady gets the surprise of a lifetime at the Prestwick Airport in Glasgow.

The airport staff seems to be overly happy—or are they?

At the beginning, a woman in white approaches the check-in desk.

The workers start singing to her and that’s when we notice that’s this day is no average airport day. The woman soon figures it out too, and she starts laughing. The staff is singing “Money, Money, Money” by ABBA…but, they’re not the airport staff.

As it turns out, the whole thing is a flash mob done by a group called Impromptune.

The name fits the group perfectly, it is as impromptu as it gets, with an impressive a capella. This is one witty, well-sung performance that will brighten your day. Small, but beautiful. If you’re a huge fan of ABBA, you’ll love this one. They also sing “Waterloo”, “Thank You for the Music,” “SOS,” “Super Trouper” and “Mamma Mia.” What a medley?!

What a wonderful send-off!

You know you’re performing well when an airport is full of people and no one is complaining about being late for the plane!

No one is making a problem out of it, and you can’t see a single person looking at their watch. As soon as the audience figured out that a flash mob was about to begin, everyone took out their phones and started recording the surprise the woman was about to get.

Imagine someone dedicating one of ABBA’s hits to you.

It would be nice if this happened at every airport so that people who needed to wait for hours for a flight could have some entertainment. It’s an amazing video with the ultimate feel-good factor—we bet the woman was buzzing! It must have taken them ages to rehearse a three-minute song, but it was worth it. The performance was highly appreciated, and the woman was crying with joy.

Only seven people are performing, but it feels like 77!

Yes, we know that seven people are doing the flash mob.

It might not be considered a mob, but the flash was definitely there. Impromptune ran through several of ABBA’s biggest hits, and they did them all perfectly. We can only say “thank you for the music” right back at them! It was such fun, and we all laughed hard. The funniest part about the choreography is that singers decided to appear one by one. Just when you thought you’d heard it all, someone else comes up and another awesome song starts. If only there was a never-ending loop of joy, it would probably sound something like this.

It was definitely a birthday surprise to remember!

Now, this is a birthday party you cant drag yourself away from!

The video was filmed in 2015, but we bet that the birthday lady still remembers it. The unforgettable surprise received more than a million YouTube views, and ABBA would be proud. If Impromptune got your attention, check out their website for more information. We can only add that this was an adorable thing to watch, and we would love it if more people got surprised this way. As for ABBA, there has been talk about a reunion…and in 2018, the members announced that they have recorded two new songs. We’ll see what the future brings!
