He's so much fun to watch. I hope I can dance like this at his age!

You know how in those old martial arts movies, there’s always an old man who seems helpless, but then proceeds to show the thugs a thing or two?

There might be some truth to that, especially when talking about China.

Never underestimate an elderly person from that country, and that goes for Japan too.

What do you think you’ll be like at 70?

Certainly not like this elderly Chinese gentleman, who proceeds to dance with a much younger lady in what looks to be a public park.

He matches her move for move, bouncing lightly on his feet as if getting ready to jump, spin, and kick.

So what’s 70 looking like for us?

This man is physically and mentally fit to be doing a dance like this at his age.

A senior viewer had this to say,

“Oh my goodness, watching him dance so gracefully and effortlessly, I just kept smiling—he’s like medicine, on my Home Screen now—I’m 72, I need to do this—thank you for sharing this wonderful video.”

I’d like to know what kind of vitamins he’s taking!

The footwork, the pause, the spin.

Try it and see if you don’t hurt yourself. On second thought, don’t, you might twist your knee or something.

He jumps and spins way better than that woman he’s dancing with!

This dance looks to be the Melbourne shuffle, which originated in Australia in the 1980s.

It boasts of energetic steps, and has since become a new form of “square dance” occupying China’s urban spaces.

People dance from parks to plazas.

This is a popular pound-losing exercise for many elderly and middle-age Chinese.

Were you thinking of losing weight and getting fit? This might be your answer.

If he’s 70 and able to do this, then it’s highly effective.

Now check him out as he hops on one foot forwards then backwards.

He doesn’t even look like he’s catching his breath as compared to that lady!

Mr. Cool Chinese Man has an admirer in the comments,

“I think I have a crush on this grandpa. He’s the coolest one there in that third video. Can’t keep my eyes off him…the young kids are fabulous too, but Mr. Cool in the sunglasses is the absolute star. I’ve watched this video so may times and each time, it inspires me and makes me smile!”

Who knows what else he’s capable of?

There are other clips of him dancing with others but it’s all the same anyway.

Grandpa is just way better than his younger dance mates.

Forget about flying to China to look for him though.

It’s a very large nation pushing over 1.4 billion in terms of population, hence why they are the most populous.

But it would be cool if many of them could dance like this grandpa, or at least get close to his moves.

And those sunglasses just add to his cool factor even more.
