Little girls are adorable and precious. Like dolls that parents can dress up and fix them up to be as pretty as can be, the sweet innocence they possess is truly endearing. It is a child’s formative years where they develop most.
It is also here where they discover the things they love to do.
Whatever they are exposed to and whatever is taught to them will most likely stay with them as they grow older.
This is Konstantina Andritsou and she will blow your socks off.
For little Konstantina, it probably weren’t dolls or houses or even gadgets. It was a guitar.
She has an angelic face and an exceptionally sweet countenance as she walks on stage. A man carrying her guitar leads her to her seat. He even has to remind her where to sit and to bow first.
Lurking beneath that angelic countenance is a little bit of Clapton.
She is introduced and the audience gives her a warm welcome. She gives them a lovely smile and her eyes change.
With determined focus, she begins. A slow, melodious plucking that seems to grow with complexity.
Never mind that the guitar seems to be too big for her. Look at those little fingers go!
Konstantina is of Bulgarian descent and lives in Greece.
Where most people had to have years of work and practice, little Konstantina seems to be born with her skill. She is already a star in her own right and her fame only continues to grow.
Impressive when you take in to consideration that she is just 7 years old here.
A perennial favorite among young and old musicians around the world.
Her piece grows and she lets her fingers fly across the fret board. The notes soaring and hypnotizing everyone in the room. The melody is hauntingly beautiful. Something fit for an epic film. Konstantina’s face says it all.
Her determination and passion unbreakable as she slides strings and plays through scales with unbelievable technique.
The notes are as sharp and distinct as those eyes.
She picks up the tempo. Slowly building the pace, she goes through a bass scale and proceeds to do a quick run through to the higher notes further down the neck of her guitar.

He may be right. Konstantina is wonderful!
Those little fingers unleash a flurry of notes.
There are many greats in the guitar world. Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Slash, even Carlos Santana. But to be this good at 7? Wow!
She cannot be stopped. She remains calm and poised and yet her piece flows from her like an invisible force that stuns the crowd.
Konstantina is going places and she doesn’t even know it yet.
She looks lovely too. Her dress and hair clip matching her sweet demeanor seemingly hiding the prodigy that she is. Imagine where she will be a few years from now.
This is one child whose fire cannot be quenched.

And like a lovely dream, the music ends. The notes fade and she looks up at the crowd with an innocent eagerness hoping to have gained their approval.
The applause is deafening. And little Konstantina deserves it.
