When the quintet known as “Boyband” took the Britain’s Got Talent stage, they defied expectations when they were initially mistaken for singers by judge Simon Cowell.

They soon revealed their identity as a dance group which prompted Simon to be skeptical and asked them, “Is this serious?”

However, as the beats of Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk” reverberated through the auditorium, ‘Boyband’ unleashed an electrifying dance routine that captured the judges’ and audience’s attention.

Their performance, a fusion of impeccable dance moves and breathtaking acrobatics, left the audience in awe of their talent.

The distinctive feature was the sheer joy and passion emanating from Boyband’s every move and it obviously reflected their deep love for dance.

Infectious smiles and boundless energy characterized their stage presence, with physical prowess evident in flips, rolls, and leaps executed with precision and magical synchronization.

They’re so fun to watch!

The culmination of their routine featured a series of flips and acrobatics that held the audience on the edge of their seats.

Their amazing performance concluded with thunderous applause and a standing ovation from both judges and spectators.

Boyband not only received the much-wanted ‘Golden Buzzer’, securing a spot in the finals but also garnered well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performance.

The joyous reactions of its members Corey Culverwell, Dylan Mayoral, Jaih Betote, Mike Ureta, and Mike McNeish affirmed the significance of the Golden Buzzer as more than an accolade – it was a profound validation of their talent and dedicated efforts.

Simon Cowell, initially doubtful, was pleasantly surprised, as what he anticipated as a singing performance turned into a dance act that had the entire room grooving.

They proved themselves to be rather formidable opponents in the contest.

In the Semi-Final, the group performed Usher’s ‘Scream’ with synchronized moves, individual mini-solos, and a striking visual addition of women in red.

Alesha praised their ‘brilliantly choreographed’ routine, considering them ‘real contenders,’ and Simon recognized its relevance.

Despite not advancing initially, they later received a wild card.

In the Final, each member represented an element, starting with solo segments and transitioning into a collective routine after removing their bibs.

Amanda praised it as their ‘best performance,’ while Simon found it predictable. Ultimately, they secured the 12th position overall.

Although they didn’t bag the grand prize award, they made a huge impact not only on the live audience but also on those who saw them online.

In their final performance, Boyband left people’s eyes popped and jaw dropped with their out-of-this-world dance routine.

One online viewer wrote, “OMG…I have NEVER EVER watched a dance act and ended up with goosebumps all over my body…The combination of the music, the visual elements, and of course the incredible BoyBand just give me chills!! I mean…just bravo!!!”

In fact, before they even auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, Boyband already appeared on the Sky1 series ‘Got to Dance’ in mid-2014. There, they were placed on Ashley Banjo’s team and reached the Final, however, failed to be the winning team.
