It was just another school talent show at Lakeside Elementary in Chisago City, Minneapolis, until Adam Kornowski, a fourth grader, walked onto the stage.

He sat at the piano to deliver a message through a song that would soon echo far beyond the school walls.

Of course, the song itself already carries the title of being one of the world’s most loved.

Adam chose John Lennon’s “Imagine,” a song that’s a melodious call for peace and understanding.

As he started playing, his calm and soothing voice filled the hall, turning the ordinary school event into something magical.

Despite the sudden fame, Adam remained a typical 10-year-old.

He had been playing the piano since he was five, taught by his musician dad.

But outside his musical talent, he was just like any other kid, enjoying baseball and everyday life.
