It was just another school talent show at Lakeside Elementary in Chisago City, Minneapolis, until Adam Kornowski, a fourth grader, walked onto the stage.
He sat at the piano to deliver a message through a song that would soon echo far beyond the school walls.

Adam chose John Lennon’s “Imagine,” a song that’s a melodious call for peace and understanding.

In the audience, Adam’s mother, Michelle, was filming, proud and perhaps unaware that this video would soon touch the hearts of millions.
She posted it on Facebook, expecting it to be just another cute post for family and friends.
