We’ve all heard of Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock” before. Written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, it was Elvis’ first hit, after he performed it in a movie of the same name in 1957.

It’s a catchy pop song, first and foremost, with unique hints of blues that people still can’t get enough of.

While it wasn’t Elvis’ most popular tune of the year, it certainly did well in the charts.

In the movie, “Jailhouse Rock”, Elvis plays a wrongly accused convict who becomes a star when he’s released.

One scene showcases the prisoners putting on a performance, with Elvis as their leading man.

This is the “Jailhouse Rock” we all know today, a scene so popular that it is still recreated more than 60 years later.

But we can guarantee that you’ve never seen “Jailhouse Rock” performed by a group of 4-year-olds!

If you’re not familiar with the movie scene, all you need to know is that Elvis and his fellow inmates, dressed head to toe in black and stripes, dance, sing, and even play saxophones to the popular song.

In what looks like a school performance, five adorable little boys take to the stage in mini versions of Elvis’ prison attire.

As soon as the music kicks in, we know we’re in for a performance like no other!

Elvis starts to sing, and the little boys alternate between pointing left and right above their head.

Then, when the chorus gets going, the boys wiggle their hips in the most hilariously cute way.

They’re all going for it, but the kid in the back middle must have dancing in his genes, because he takes his role very seriously.

But wiggling isn’t all this talented quintet can bring to the table, oh no.

In a deviation from the movie scene, a “police officer” – i.e. a little kid wearing a cop’s shirt, tie and cap – comes running on stage.

To the cheers of the audience, he orders his “convicts” to line up, facing away from the audience, with their hands behind their heads.

While he glances at the crowd, the little boys start wiggling their bums to the music again, and the audience goes wild.

The little police officer runs from side to side in frustration.

The audience is well and truly on their side by now, and we know they’d be the memorable act of the night if they were finished now.

But they’re not done yet!

The convicts stand in a line, holding hands, with the police officer standing in the middle.

One of the convicts lies on his front between the police officer’s legs, grinning at the crowd.

The wiggling commences again, much to the amusement of the audience, who are clapping along and cheering.

In the next verse, the kids get on the floor and do some very basic break-dancing.

Whoever choreographed this thing really did think of everything.

Back on their feet, they form a conga line, with the policeman at the front, and conga through an open curtain at the side of the stage.

When the little boys run in to bow and wave, they get nothing short of a standing ovation.
