Among instruments, drums aren’t the easiest of all of them to master.
It takes a lot of time and practice, as well as a finely-honed sense of rhythm. Even so, we’ve found a toddler who has already mastered the instrument!
The adorable kid proves you can learn whatever you want if you’re interested enough.
Meet Lyonya Shilovsky, an adorable young drummer from Russia.
He started playing drums when he was only a little over a year old, and he grew up to be a versatile player. The little blonde man likes to play everything from jazz to rock and roll.
The boy was a three-year-old little wonder when the video was made.
He’s 10 now, and he has an impressive two million subscribers on YouTube and five thousand followers on Instagram. The young gentleman also plays xylophone, kettle drum, marimba, bongo and a bit of piano. There are some children whose talent simply explodes when discovered at an early age, and that certainly happened in Lyonya’s case!
This is what happens when a kid leads an entire orchestra!
Upon being introduced, Lyonya appears on stage holding his father’s hand and jumping with joy.
He’s dressed like a gentleman in his bow tie, and he even has the cutest mohawk ever. Lyonya is irresistible, and you won’t believe your eyes when you see all his fantastic moves.
His little hands make magic right after he gets his drumsticks.
Everyone’s excited and the audience loves him completely—you can hear people cheering and laughing in the crowd. The orchestra members are mesmerized by how much he feels the music. The thing we love most about the whole show is how spontaneous he is.
He’s looking around as he plays because everything is interesting and new for him, but he doesn’t miss a beat.
His concentration is amazing, and we’re guessing his father must be so proud of him!
For those who didn’t notice, Lyonya’s father is right behind him during the whole performance.
He’s clapping, laughing and cheering the boy on the entire time. From what we’ve seen, the boy’s got a great attitude and his parents are fully supportive of his talent!
That’s probably the only way to be when raising a gifted kid—you have to let them develop and be by their side all the way through.
Lyonya clearly loves to play, and his parents love watching him and supporting him. Since the clip was posted, it has earned more than three million views online!
The comments section is full of love and admiration for young Lyonya.
People love to see a good performance, after all—that’s a fact, and you’ve got to love it twice as much when a kid performs.
We’re guessing that Lyonya has a very bright future in music ahead of him!
Though there are a lot of talented kids out there, very few are leading orchestras in live performances while they’re still toddlers. Although his talent clearly is carrying him a long way, we can’t overlook the love of his family that helps him perform at his best. We’re proud of him, and we hope that our best wishes will find him well far away in Russia.
