Figure skating is one of the most incredible sports to watch.

Unlike sports like basketball, football, baseball, soccer, and more, figure skating is meant to be a show that entertains the watcher.

Synchronized figure skating is even more actively engaging for an audience to watch. You will be on the edge of your seat when watching a routine because you have to know what they’re going to do next.

Synchronized skating is an even stricter form of figure skating, where teams of 8 to 20 compete together.

NEXXICE the synchronized skating team that represents Burlington Skating Centre from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. They have a senior team that is ten-time Canadian national champions (between 2007 and 2017), the first Canadian team to win the World Championships in 2009 and then again in 2015.

The senior NEXXICE competed at the 2015 World Synchro Champs and totally wiped the floor with their competition. No offense to the other competitors!

Their near 6-minute routine had the crowd on their feet and screaming within seconds. I don’t know how they could concentrate with all of that noise!

The team’s coaches’ Shelley Simonton Barnett and Anne Schelter had to be so proud of their team after this one.

The 2015 senior NEXXICE team had 16 members – 15 girls and just 1 guy! He must have had an interesting time training with all of these ladies.

The group first started out huddled together on the ice, as they waited for their music to start playing. Once it began, the crowd erupted into sound again.

The team chose an interesting song to perform to – “Mud” by The Road Hammers. Their routine meshed so perfectly with the music!

Absolutely great stuff! Shame on the 150 people who disliked this. Miserable jelly bellies! Great stuff! Congrats to coach and team. Way to make Canadians proud!

While another commented the only male member of the team:

Completely outstanding – I love that there is a guy on the team. Don’t know where I’ve been – but have not heard of this before. So happy I finally found out about this.

What do you think of Team Canada’s performance? I think they absolutely nailed it!

I do not know how so many people are able to work together in sync so fluidly. I can barely walk without tripping on something, so this is beyond incredible to me.
