Her fans, who had followed her life journey, knew the struggles she had to face, yet she overcame them all and went on stage to dance as if nothing else mattered.

She was a victim of abuse by her former husband, Ike Turner.

For some of her fans, the duo Ike & Tina Turner made music history with their talented music.

They were married in 1962.

They succeeded together as musicians, releasing many hit songs like “River Deep – Mountain High” and “Proud Mary.”

They met, worked together, and built their strong love and friendship for each other.

Both women faced similar challenges.

Especially in the male-dominated music industry back then.

Just a day after the passing of “The Queen of Rock and Roll,” a tweet from James Bailey went viral.

It was a video of Tina Turner and Cher, singing and dancing to the song “Shame, Shame, Shame” on the stage of The Cher Show, back on April 27, 1975.

“Please stop what you’re doing and watch Tina Turner and Cher duetting in the campest way imaginable,” Bailey captioned his tweet.

In the video, both Tina and Cher wore beautiful sequined dresses and gave their audience an energetic performance.

They shook their shakers and belted out.

It was expected that they would always give their all when performing.

Aside from the beautiful song and upbeat dance, it was clear that the friends had fun with their performance.

They smiled and laughed the whole time.
