12-year-old Girl shows off her incredible style while making the city streets her “stage”
She's got more stage presence than some of the "pros" I've seen.

It may take weeks of finger pain and determination, but learning the guitar is one of the most fun things you could do.

Just knowing how to play chords feels like a huge achievement. Plucking and playing scales can make that feeling even better.

Starting young always helps growth too.

See this girl here? She’s 12 and has the guitar experience of most adults.

Good talent deserves an audience, and she’s got one. But the venue isn’t anything special.

While she’s tearing up the fretboard on that guitar, the crowd and her simply stand around the asphalt and concrete while it goes down.

There’s no stage, no fancy lights, or even seats.

This is a good old street performance courtesy of a young guitar prodigy, and the people here are privileged to be witnessing it.

Our 12-year-old guitar guru is going to town on those scales. Those painful days of building up blisters to hold the strings down paid off, as well as the subsequent years of practice.

We all remember how difficult it was to learn guitar at first. We had to learn what frets were, what the tuning knobs are for, and the ever-important E-A-D-G-B-E pattern of the strings.

But when you have the basics down, practice takes over. And you’ll want to be doing lots of it if you want to be at least as good as her.

She’s so good that she even nonchalantly walks around and grooves with her body as she plays those scales.

Make no mistake, she isn’t playing for cash. She’s playing out of passion.

Performing out of passion is always the key to a memorable show. Forget the stardom, fame, or the money.

One secret to great results is to make sure you enjoy what you’re doing. Why practice something that isn’t fun for you?

She’s doing all of this without a backing band too.

She doesn’t have a drummer or a bass player to cue her in on the rhythm or the beat.

Instead, she knows the beat and rhythm by heart.

That’s the mark of a really good musician right there. With fundamentals like that, I wonder if she plays bass too.

If she doesn’t already, I think she’d be just as good on a bass as on a regular guitar.

You’d be blessed to have a guitar player as invested in the performance as her.

Plus, that energy she packs would be right at home with a 4-person band.

There was no shortage of praise for her in the comments from older musicians.

“This girl encompasses the true spirit of entertainment, by first entertaining herself. I sincerely hope she keeps it!” read one comment.

“Been playing guitar for 50 years. I must say for a 12 year old this is impressive and phenomenal. You go girl!” said another

Let’s keep our eyes on this little guitar prodigy. We might be seeing her with much bigger crowds in just a few years.
