The age of the internet has brought some incredibly talented people to the world stage.
These people might never have found the attention they deserve. In particular, there are many young people who have blown us away with their amazing skills. From Grace Vanderwaal, the 12-year-old winner of the 2016 season of “America’s Got Talent,” to Ansley Burns, the preteen whose vocals attracted the attention of superstar Carrie Underwood, young people are amazing the internet with their talents.
Not every young singer produces original content, though. In a music video from 2017, then-11-year-old Jaydn Rylee wowed with “Only You,” a song she wrote herself with the help of Curt Ryle and John Castleberry.
Jaydn’s crystal-clear vocals are made even more amazing when you realize that she created the music. And it’s on par with any song you’ll hear on the radio.
But that’s not where the amazement stops.
Jaydn is accompanied by her friend Brayden Ryle. Jaydn’s part of the song is a sweet ballad, so it seems only fair that Brayden would be taking on the same sort of thing in a male lead vocal. But that’s not the case.
Jaws are likely to drop when Brayden joins Jaydn. But it’s not to sing; rather … to rap.
Jaydn sings with ease and skill.
Her clear vocals have a professional quality to them that you don’t always hear even from much older and more established performers. As for Brayden, he’s calm and collected. Rap is incredibly difficult, but he clearly has no problem performing.
They both have a huge amount of natural talent. What’s more, it’s plain to see that they have been working hard at honing their skills.
“This song can be heard in many ways but for Jadyn and Brayden it signified the immediate and instantly strong friendship that they developed,” the video’s description reads. “Jadyn wears her heart on her sleeve and so it’s no surprise that she feels right at home singing with a new friend.”
Both kids are amazingly talented.
And they clearly enjoy making music together. Both also are hyper-focused. Anyone can see that if they continue in the music industry, they have long careers ahead of them.
In fact, they have already started. Not only is Jaydn producing her own music videos, but she’s already become famous for her covers of other well-known songs. Some of her most popular videos include her performances of “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica and “Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel.
It’s impressive when you realize that she was born in 2006 — yes, 2006, which makes her just shy of 13 years old.
Jadyn has already garnered more than 38 million views on her YouTube channel.
She also has active Facebook and Instagram pages and channels on Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music, and iHeartRadio. Brayden is just as active with his own social media and music pages. They’re an ambitious pair at only 12 years old — and they were only 11 when they produced their collaboration video.
“Also featured in ‘Beaches of Tofino’ this is Brayden’s second appearance but first vocal collaboration with Jadyn,” the video’s description says. “He is an extremely talented young man. At the same age as Jadyn, he can sing and rap, dance, and play the piano. It was only natural for this duo to perform a song together. They were flawless. They seemed so in tune with each other and knew exactly what to do.”
Jaydn is originally from Toronto, Canada, and is already becoming well-known in the musical community there. Since releasing “Only You,” she’s put out several other original songs on her YouTube channel. These include “Beaches of Tofino,” “You Make Me Feel,” and “I’d Give Up My Phone For You,” which again features Brayden on accompanying vocals.
It’s obvious that neither of them intends to waste any time developing their talents and outreach.
The natural talent of these kids will without a doubt pave the way for them in the future. With the internet already in awe, there’s nothing holding them back.
