Highway to Hell is the sixth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC.

It was released in 1979 and was the band’s fifth studio album released internationally. Sadly, the album was also the last one featuring the lead singer Bon Scott, who died in 1980.

Only a few bands can brag about creating an anthem for an entire generation, and you’ll understand what we mean by this after watching a video we stumbled upon.

An impressive number of 1000 musicians came together to play “one of the most Australian songs of all time.”

The magical concert took place in the Stade De France in Paris in 2019.

From France to Australia, you won’t find a lot of people who haven’t heard of the legendary AC/DC.

They are one of the most successful bands of all time, and their songs have been used in numerous movies and TV shows. They still have a loyal fanbase in the millions! “Highway to Hell” was used in the Iron Man and Avengers movies. AC/DC even has even inspired their own casino slot machine games.

The video is quite unbelievable.

Music is one of the few things left that can inspire an act like this. We wish Bon and Malcolm could have seen this, it would definitely have made them proud.

We must say that not even a thousand people singing the song in unison come close to Bon’s powerful interpretation, but it’s a beautiful tribute that brings tears to eyes.

Watching all of the drummers’ arms move at the same time is pretty dazzling.

Stade de France has a seating capacity for over 80,000 people.

As soon as the camera starts scrolling over the whole stadium, you see it’s full of different musicians; guitarists, drummers, singers, and a conductor in a red blazer.

There are so many microphones, drum kits, guitars and amplifiers.

After a few more moments, they start singing and it’s so captivating. Especially in light of coronavirus, seeing so much happiness and enthusiasm in one place makes you feel joyful. This is one of those videos you come back to whenever you need a positive boost!

What an unforgettable experience this must have been for everyone involved.

It’s amazing how the performance comes close to everything that AC/DC was all about: great music, real grit, blood, sweat and giving 100 percent to whatever you’re doing.

Since it was posted, the video has been viewed almost half a million times on YouTube.

It’s not much for a song that won the “Most Played Australian Work Overseas” APRA Award, but it shows that AC/DC is still very much at people’s minds.

They are one of those unforgettable bands whose impact spans across several generations.

It’s funny that the song is actually about Canning Highway, where most of Bon Scott’s favorite pubs and hotels were.

Unfortunately, Scott passed away just over six months after the song was released.

We know that he would be happy to see this!

Even if you’re not a huge AC/DC fan, it’s still great to see so many different musicians united in something they love—especially now that so much of the world is still shut down. Hopefully, we’ll be back to this soon!
